girly things

I’ve been meaning to write a new blog post, but I have a dilemma:

All I can think about is my precious baby.

Not that she is a bad thing to think about. I’m just thinking maybe no one else wants to hear about her perfect lips and sweet noises and darling hair and teensy feet and …

You get the point.

We love her, though. Not more than I loved each of my boys, just different. We’re a team, me and Audrey. The only girls. My sweet companion. My last baby. I don’t want her to grow and yet I can’t wait to find out who she is. I love our quiet moments in the middle of the night when its just the two of us. She needs me. And oh how I need her.

Isn’t she beautiful?

What a sweet girl.

So in the hopes of not boring you with too many details of our Audrey, here are some other things that inspire me:

  8. Emily,
Audrey is beautiful! Having three girls under age 4 myself, I'd love to read about where you've had luck finding unique, adorable girl clothes, accessories, etc. Of course, I know Etsy is an amazing resource, but do you have any specific sellers or stores (online or IRL) that you love?

  9. Emily, I can totally understand, she is just darling...and your little mommy/daughter moments need to be cherished, enjoy her with al you have! and the ruffles aren't a bad thing to think about! ;)

  10. Congratulations on your sweet new addition, Emily. Aubrey Ryan is so precious, I don't blame you for having all things girl on your brain....and anytime you want to burst with love about your baby girl, you can always gush over here...babies are my FAVORITE!

Love the ruffles....but that precious pic of A's folded fingers, couldn't be sweeter.

    Enjoy every second.

  12. Hello. I was directed to your blog by one of your college acquaintances when I was trying to find ideas for a girl room. I have 2 boys and I'm pregnant with my last baby, a GIRL!! I LOVE this entry and most of all, i LOVE LOVE the tutu pic. Is this your baby and if so, where did you find the tutu and chair? I've never seen a tutu so full. Just wondering. I know you're probably busy but if you have time to get back to me I would love it. Thanks and congrats on your girl!
