It is What I Wore Wednesday at The Pleated Poppy.
I just wanted to let you all know that I am no longer standing on the edge of the bathtub for a full length view of myself. I went out and spent $5.99 on a mirror. Why I have not made this purchase LONG ago, I have no idea. It is a super flimsy mirror and I can’t figure out how to hang it as there are no hangers, but I suppose anything is better than the edge of the tub.
So here are the two outfits I’ve worn since acquiring the mirror.
Quality photo, I know. And do you like the prom dresses thrown on the floor behind me?
shirt: Gap, jeans: Seven A Pocket, boots: about 7 years old from Nordstrom
Now that I see myself, I think this outfit is a little dorky.
And this is today. Again, quality photo.
sweater: Nordstrom {Point of View – I realized about a year ago that I should no longer shop in the Juniors section and made my way over to the ‘mom’ department where I’ve remained ever since.} jeans: Banana Republic, tank: Old Navy, shoes: Payless
And for good measure, here is the little darling:
Outfit bought by my mom at the consignment store. Headband by me.
Shirt: Happy Hollis Designs, skirt: Target, headband by me.
i love both outfits! especially the first jeans - oh i need those!
ReplyDeleteAre you sky high tall or is that the mirror working because you look great! Great outfits!
ReplyDeleteOh! "todays" jeans are AMAZING! i love that whole outfit!
ReplyDeleteand... i think that people don't tuck there shirts in any more and it looks frumpy! so, good job. :D

If I didn't know from reading your blog that you had 4 children, I would never believe it - I would kill for your figure (and I've only had 1)!!! Little darling is just beautiful, as always.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfits, and when I saw you like expensive jeans, I knew they'd be cute. Jeans make or break the outfit. I just have a hard time forking out the cash, but I think it's worth it. Loving the bee top. I need a girl! Can't wait to see more of your outfits!
ReplyDeletemy kind of style girl! I love both outfits, even the "dorky" one :) I too love Nordstrom, and shamefully admit that I do still wear some stuff from Brass Plum and TBD :) Fun linking up with you at Pleated Poppy!
ReplyDeleteI must say you and your little one are darling. I love that you are showing us how you are dressing her also. Love these post,Kathysue
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is so cute...great headbands!
ReplyDeleteYay Happy Hollis Design! Hollis' mommy was my roommate back in the day pre-marshall and I adore Rach! She has the best designs... ps want to make a headband like the cute yellow one for a friend's little lady. tutorial?
ReplyDeleteCute cute cute. If only my son would wear ruffles...just kidding. By the way, I had a mirror like that in college and used the command velcro hangers. Worked like a charm and I moved it from dorm to dorm without a problem. : )
